Dancing With Missouri Stars
La Roca Dance Studio was invited to participate in the Dancing With Missouri Stars held in Columbia. at Hearnes Center.
This annual competition pairs local celebrities with professional dance instructors to perform in front of fans, friends, and family to benefit the Missouri Contemporary Ballet, a not-for-profit professional ballet company based in Columbia Missouri.
Our Team from The Lake representing La Roca Dance Studio brought home a 1st Place Trophy from the 5th Annual Dancing With Missouri Stars. Our student, Missy Martinette Hills of L O Profile magazine, made us very proud as she danced two extraordinary dances, Tango and Cha Cha, with Peter last Thursday Night at Hearnes Center. This dance duo represented The Lake with grace, class, and poise as they competed against seven other celebrity/professional couples.
Peter and Amy send out many Thanks to ALL of the Lake Area Sponsors, Students, and Friends, who gave monetary donations and time to support us. Because of all of you La Roca Dance Studio was able to make a mark at fabulous event and raise money to support an amazing organization, The Missouri Contemporary Ballet.
